MIDAS Vision is recognized as the first choice
for Automated Optical Inspection Equipment in Ceramic Substrate Assembly, Water
Bump Technology and Substrate Via Drilling Technologies. As a member of the
applications engineering team, this position will share in the responsibility of
supporting our Sales support team on a worldwide basis. The Applications
Engineer operates both independently and as a team player conducting feasibility
studies, developing applications, visiting customers, developing seminar
presentations and participating in trade shows. Utilizing your excellent technical
and communications skills, you will build long lasting relationships with key
customers. Initial focus will be to develop the customer's application in
the pre-sales process, and thereafter, configure, install, operate and troubleshoot
the system in post-sales support. Will train production line engineers and
technicians and support customers in developing inspection tasks of new
products.
Qualifications:
A highly motivated and results oriented
attitude coupled with an excellent knowledge of the PCBA, SMT, ASPA markets and
a skillful understanding of AOI process is preferred. Must have experience
supporting and serving customers, preferably in an applications environment.
Three to five (3-5) years experience is required in a related field. Must be
willing to travel minimum of 50% of the time both domestically and
internationally.
